Ementaler is a Swiss-type ripening cheese with a mild and slightly sweetish flavour. It has a slightly firm consistency, bright yellow colour and large oval holes. It is a perfect component of many salads, sauces, toasted sandwiches and pizzas. Ementaler tastes great with red wine.
